Our commitment to “Caring for the World We Carry” includes our dedication to the communities where our business operates.
Through active engagement with our workforce and contributions to local and global initiatives, Atlas and our employees passionately support local and global causes that foster vibrant communities.
We focus our community engagement in three areas connected to our global operating network:

We work to develop a strong pipeline of diverse and skilled talent to help strengthen the aviation industry into the future. As part of our mission, we engage with students early in their studies and continue through high school and college as they progress on their professional journey.
In addition to our long-standing partnership with local Junior Achievement programs, our employees participate in several student outreach, education and engagement efforts, sharing their experience with careers in aviation. More than 60 Atlas employees served as Atlas Air Ambassadors in 2024, bringing their expertise and passion for aviation, answering students’ questions, encouraging their learning and inspiring the next generation of professionals.
To help shape the next generation of aviation professionals, Atlas has partnered with the University of Alaska Anchorage, committing $50,000 in scholarships in 2024. These needs-based awards include four $5,000 scholarships for aspiring Aviation Maintenance Technicians and three $10,000 scholarships for future pilots.
Support for U.S. Service Members, Veterans, and Their Families
As the world’s largest provider of military passenger and cargo airlift, we proudly support U.S. service members, veterans, and their families. Our commitment goes beyond the mission; reflected in our philanthropic efforts, career pathways, and strong community partnerships.
Building Pathways to Civilian Careers
Atlas participates in the Department of Defense SkillBridge Program, offering internships to service members transitioning into civilian life during their final 180 days of active duty. The program continues to grow as a valuable talent pipeline, empowering participants as they embark on the next chapter of their careers.
We are honored to be recognized as a Patriot Employer by Disabled American Veterans (DAV) for our dedication to helping veterans and their families secure meaningful, long-term employment.
For nearly 25 years, our Annual Charity Golf Tournament has united employees, customers, and partners to raise funds for organizations that assist military communities. Beneficiaries include groups like K9s For Warriors, which provides service dogs to veterans coping with PTSD and other service-related conditions, the Liberty City Optimists Club, a youth-focused organization offering after-school and summer programs for children ages 4 to 16, and The ION Center for Violence Prevention which provides services to victim-survivors who have experienced power-based personal violence.
This longstanding tradition reflects our enduring support for the communities in which we live and work – fostering connection, raising awareness, and making a lasting impact.
We support our communities in a variety of ways – from financial contributions and employee volunteering to quickly mobilizing goods and personnel during natural disasters or public health emergencies. Our employees are dedicated to giving back, contributing their time and resources to meaningful causes in local communities where they work and live.
Atlas and our employees helped provide disaster relief after Hurricanes Milton and Helene struck the Southeastern U.S., as well as during the wildfires in the Western U.S. in 2024. In addition to financial contributions and hands-on involvement, Atlas pilots volunteered with Wings of Rescue, a nonprofit that transports humanitarian aid and at-risk pets.
