Recently, teams across Atlas came together with Make-A-Wish and our valued partner FEAM to create an unforgettable day for Ryan, a young aviation enthusiast whose greatest wish was to become a pilot.
From the moment he arrived at our Miami Ops Gateway, Ryan wasn’t just visiting Atlas—he was part of the team. He stepped into our flight simulator, experienced what it’s like to fly one of the world’s largest aircraft, earned his own pair of Atlas wings and, most importantly, spent the day alongside people who share his passion for aviation.
One of those people was Captain Andre Ortega, who shared his love of flying, answered countless questions and helped create memories Ryan and his family will never forget.

Behind every moment was a team of Atlas employees working together to make the experience extraordinary. Thank you to our HR, Operations and Training teams, whose enthusiasm, care and collaboration transformed one child’s wish into a day filled with joy, inspiration and possibility.
